2006 Canadian National Championships
Buisson,
26, rewrote National Records in four events en route to winning every race
(300 m time trial, 500 m, 1000 m, 10 000 m points, 20 000 m elimination) at
the Canadian Inline Speed Skating National Championships for the third
consecutive year.
She beat Cindy Klassen's 7-year-old national mark of
29.1 seconds in the 300 m time trial with a 28.4, becoming the first Canadian woman to
clock a sub-29-second finish.
Meaghan
is the Canadian Sprint Champion, Canadian Distance Champion, and, for the 5th time, the Canadian Overall Champion.
